2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience

2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience

2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid – Hyundai has been improving its SUV lineup lately. Almost all of them are recent additions, including the extra small Venue and the three-line Palisade, or redesigned.

We look forward to 2023; Tucson’s turn is completely redesigned. The Tucson is a small SUV that competes with the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.

This all-new version is quite different from the distinctive headlight design, square wheel arches, and thick folds on the bodywork.

The interior is also more dynamic, with a middle stack with no hard buttons and a digital instrument panel without a sheath.

Also new for 2023 is the availability of three powertrain options. There are conventional gasoline engines and two hybrid options: a standard hybrid and a plug-in hybrid with an electric range of up to 28 miles.

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson features a bold new design that seems destined to shake up the compact SUV market.

The entry-level Tucson is powered by the same more conventional 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine as the Sonata family sedan. Still, hybrids and plug-in hybrids will be offered, both using turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engines coupled with an electric motor.

All models are reasonably well equipped, and Tucson is one of the most stylish options in its segment. He came face to face with several strong rivals such as the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4, and Volkswagen Tiguan, but the new Tucson has brought its A-game.

Comfort SEL trim offers a good balance between features and price. It comes standard with heated front seats, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, sunroof, and a 10.3-inch digital measuring screen, among other items.

The sporty N Line model is also available for the first time. Still, buyers expecting a high-performance turbocharged four-cylinder engine will be disappointed to learn that choosing this trim is nothing more than a performance package.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Engine

The 187-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will be standard and equipped with an eight-speed automatic and front-drive or all wheels.

A 1.6-liter four-turbocharged model will power the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, which Hyundai says is suitable for a combined 227-hp on the first model and 261-hp on the second model;

All-wheel drive is standard with an electric powertrain, and both are equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Nonhybrid Tucson offers an adequate passion for driving in the city and maneuvering over highways, but proficient drivers will crave more power.

Hybrid models and more powerful plug-in hybrids both feel faster. Although Tucson is not a sports car, the handling is convincing, the steering is quite sharp, and the ride is fun.

What’s most striking about Tucson’s driving attitude is how calm and smooth it feels when sailing; These characteristics give a luxurious impression on SUVs rarely found in this class.

The plug-in hybrid model has a 13.8 kWh battery pack that offers up to 32 miles of electric driving. The built-in 7.2 kW charger allows the battery to fully charge in about two hours when connected to a level 2 charging station.

The new Tucson features a modern yet straightforward dashboard design with a digital gauge display, push-button shifter, and touch-sensitive control panel for climate control and infotainment systems.

Hyundai’s flagship Palisade SUV and the recently redesigned Sonata and Elantra sedans have become a pivotal moment for the company’s interior design.

The new Tucson looks to continue the trend with carefully laid out interiors filled with quality materials and luxury features.

The rear seat space and the cargo area of the Tucson 2023 are both larger than previous models, providing more passenger comfort and practicality.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The standard 8.8-inch touchscreen integrates into the dashboard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; a larger 10.3-inch screen with built-in navigation is optional.

Features such as SiriusXM satellite radio, an improved Bose stereo system, and Wi-Fi hotspots are likely to be offered as well.

Still, Hyundai has yet to release a complete list of standard and optional features. Other high-tech offerings include Hyundai’s digital lock smartphone app, which provides lock and unlock features and options for remote start.

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson gets an expanded lineup consisting of a gas-powered SE base, volume-leading SEL, a new sport-trimmed N-Line, and Limited range-topping, all available with a choice of front-wheel drive or all wheels.

New for 2023 is a gas-electric hybrid version of the Tucson, available in Blue, SEL, and Limited trim colors. All Tucson Hybrid 2023 models come standard with AWD.

Later in the model year, Hyundai will also add a plug-in hybrid with a projected electric range of just 32 miles to the Tucson stable.

All versions of the new generation Tucson SUV are larger, more spacious, accommodate five passengers, and offer more cargo space. Hyundai also changed the axis of the new Tucson design, giving it a swoopier shape with wrinkled sheet metal.

Tucson’s biggest drawer of attention, and one that automakers hope will help it stand out in the bustling SUV terrain, is the hallmark of its headlights.

Hidden at the top, the outer edge of Tucson’s new segmented parametric lattice is 10 LED daylight driving lights.

When illuminated, these lights create a unique look that’s second to none on the road—at least to the Tucson-based Santa Cruz compact pickup.

2023 Hyundai Tucson Models

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson is available in seven trim levels with three engines on offer. Four trim levels — S.E., S.E.L., N Line, and Limited — feature conventional gasoline engines.

The hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) are offered in three variants: Blue Hybrid, S.E.L. Convenience Hybrid, and Limited Hybrid.

While standard gasoline engines can be owned with front-drive or all wheels and use eight-speed automatics, hybrids come standard with all-wheel drive and six-speed automatic transmissions.
