Starting from $36,245, including shipping, dark metallic Blue (Moonlight Cloud) test vehicles ended on a simple $43,155.

The Palisade Grill is Stout with a chrome Nubs protruding to give her nose an attractive texture, and then there is a Swoosh of Cascading light from outer Fender down to frame two LED running lights and then a thin headlamp between the Swoosh and the distinctive Grille. Good handling too. Palisade never feels like a big truck, more easily crossover steering. While large at 196.1 inches long and £4,387, it tastes quite compact and manageable on the road and in the parking lot. All that skin, plus the excessive sound-lethal material makes the Hyundai crossover a luxurious interior calm. Hardly any wind or road noise.

Plus, the Palisade dashboard is intelligently styled with easy access to buttons and knobs, all styled in a logical array. And there is a lighted blue ring around the main measuring device, so they are super easy to see at night.
Crossover tests add a wide touch screen of 10.25 inches with a navigation system. It is easy to use and understand even when driving, which is not always the case with some systems. The wider Split screen is part of the $1,250 Drive mentoring package which also includes satellite radio, Blue Link Connected services and remote Start, plus HD Radio and Highway Drive assist.
The urge helps keep Palisade centered on the track when you involve intelligent cruise control.
Comfortable seats with lower pillows were relatively flat, but back pillows were good-contoured to provide support. The two powerful front seats, the driver’s seat includes electric lumbar support, plus a heated front and rear seat, along with the steering wheel. A $2,400 Premium package adds a back seat and a hot wheel, plus an 8-way powered passenger seat, and a force-down third-row seat and leather seat.
Another add-on is the power sunroof, which adds $900 for a fee. However, with all of these options near the luxury crossover remains South $44 Grand.

Standards on SEL models are the main safety devices as well, including smart sailing, blind-spot avoidance programs, cross-traffic, and collision avoidance. Other features that come standard include a hot front seat, 8-way power driver seat, dual-zone climate control, and overhead air ventilation, remote start and push-Start buttons, a head-up display, a side window of sun-back nuances, a leather steering wheel and an Ionizer air purifier.
If you move to a Limited model you get all the options included in this SEL, plus a few more. For example, there is a Harmon Kardon 630-amp stereo system, a refrigerated front seat, a 360-degree camera, and a wireless phone charging system. That is included, the sticker says, in one of the preferred packages here. But I can’t get my Android to take over, although it has in other test vehicles.
The hands-free hatch so you can power it up with the movement behind the hatch. Plus there is a stop and go feature to save gas by shutting down the machine when the vehicle is resting.
The cargo room is also generous. Behind the third-row seat is 18 cubic feet, which expands to 86.4 cubic feet with all seats. Also, note that the second line seat will slide forward to increase the back leg and the cargo chamber and the second line seat can also partially lie down.
Palisade’s gas mileage is also viable. I have 23.1 MPG in about 70% highway driving, while this EPA price is at 19 mpg city and Highway 24 mpg. This is a regular fuel beverage. By comparison I managed 25.9 MPG in the Test drive Telluride, on the highway mostly drive with four people aboard.
The price works in favor of Palisade, as I mentioned above. The basic 2-wheel-drive model lists the SE at $32,545, including shipping, and comes standard as an 8-passenger vehicle. The tested SEL is listed at $36,295 with AWD and moving to a limited top-level will run you $47,495 for the AWD model.
Maybe I’ve run out of awards for stacks to the Palisade/Telluride Duo. But if you’re in the market for mid to large crossovers, help yourself and compare them with anything on your shopping list.
