2024 Hyundai Elantra N: Is Veloster N Replacement?
The 2024 Hyundai Elantra N is the default of the 2023 model year, expected to bring some changes.
It became one of two N brand models along with Kona N, as the automaker has discontinued the Veloster N and will not produce it for the 2023 model year.

Many performances, technology, and safety features are standard and help run Hyundai’s full-value model.
The only options offered are exterior colors and a manual or automatic transmission. As a lover of gear sticks, the manual is a standard six-speed, with an additional $1,500 spent on an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Hyundai Elantra N Engine
The Hyundai Elantra N inherited the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine from the Veloster N hatchback.
That engine produces 275 hp of power in the Veloster N, but thanks to an over-boost feature the company calls N Grin Shift, the Elantra N offers a 286 hp rating. That gives the Elantra N a great power advantage over the Jetta GLI at the same price.
2024 Hyundai Elantra N Interior
The dramatically restyled regular Elantra cabin has a cockpit-like look. It feels that it translates perfectly to the racier Elantra N.
Sports seats with aggressive bolsters, metal-accented pedals, and a handful of N badges enhance the sportier-looking atmosphere.
Rear seat passenger space is more spacious here than in the Veloster N, and the trunk offers more room for cargo. The sunroof is available, but it is only available on the automatic transmission.
Elantra’s all-digital dashboard is brought to the N model, with a large 10.3-inch digital gauge screen sharing real estate with a 10.3-inch infotainment screen slightly tilted towards the driver.
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, on-dashboard navigation, and Wi-Fi hotspots are all likely standard features.
Safety Features
Several driver-assist technologies will likely be present in the menu as standard features. - Standard automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection;
- Formal line departure warning with the help of line maintenance;

2024 Hyundai Elantra N Price
The 2024 Elantra N is a small to medium-sized sedan expected to start at $33,000 and designed to deliver an exciting performance worth 276 HP for fans who can’t afford a NISMO, AMG, or M car.
Hyundai Veloster N was discontinued, Replaced with Elantra N.
Rumors surfaced last week that the Hyundai Veloster N would make it in the 2022 model year. Hyundai claims that the Veloster N will be produced up to 2023.
Several models were dropped from the lineup along with the terrible news, but one of the famous hot hatchbacks was also lost.
One may argue that the Veloster N was one of Hyundai’s first genuinely outstanding vehicles. Hyundai’s smash hit had a legitimate starting point in the genesis coupe.
Still, the Veloster N mainstreamed that concept with the engineering prowess of former BMW M division head Albert Biermann.
When it first debuted, the Veloster N defeated the world-beating Civic Type R and dispatched a Golf GTI.
Unfortunately, the run of that mighty little hatchback was too short. It was first sold in 2019 and only lasted for four model years.
Veloster N’s death also meant the end of Veloster in the US, coming to a complete halt. Hyundai discontinued all other versions last year, and the 275-horsepower N is the only remaining model with the torch in 2022.
However, that’s not all Hyundai is killing for 2023. Accent, its smallest sedan, is also getting rumored dead for 2023. With his death, the Hyundai Venue will now become an entry point to Hyundai’s model lineup.
The Ioniq Hybrid and Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid won’t make it to the 2023 model year, along with the Accent.
However, customers will be satisfied with their losses since there are plenty of Hyundai hybrid vehicles to pick from.
