2024 Hyundai Santa Fe

Hyundai is developing the next generation of the Santa Fe, and the SUV has been eyed closely in South Korea.

While bathed in the cladding of the body, it is clear that it will undergo many stylistic modifications and adopt radical new forms.

The front fascia of this SUV is very different from the previous model. While the body cover hides many design details, you will notice that the headlights’ shape deviates from the current model’s split design.

Hyundai’s design changes are particularly noticeable when the SUV is viewed from the side. The windshield, side windows, and roofline give the SUV a much more angular look than we’re used to for the Santa Fe.

The A-pillar is also finished in glossy black, adding to the vehicle’s bold new look. The design of the wheels further adds a new look.

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe adopts a design language similar to the Staria people’s drive – and proportions reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender – when the fifth-generation family SUV debuts in 2024.

The SUV can use rectangular headlights mounted inside its grille, while the full-width LED strip on the hood cover line can serve as a Santa Fe daytime walking light (DRL) – though it’s unclear whether the H-shaped signature is a DRL or an indicator.

The next-generation Santa Fe – known internally by the codename ‘MX5’ – is expected to wear a new sheet metal, which is getting more significant to help differentiate the model from its sibling, the Hyundai Tucson.

However, it’s yet to be confirmed how different it is underneath – as Santa Fe is currently switching to a new platform with a mid-aged facelift in 2020, which was shared with the latest Kia Sorento.

Rumors suggest the Santa Fe was tracked quickly by the Korean car giant to help rebuild the model as the best-selling SUV in its home country.

Details about the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe are still being kept secret. But we hope Santa Fe can get more muscle to accommodate its larger size. Also, rumors about the 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid are circulating.

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will feature a new interior. The SUV will have three rows of seats, like the Kia Sorento.

The picture shows an interior with seats folded flat. This could indicate that the new model has more cargo space.

The chair seems to have luxurious leather seats. The new Santa Fe can have higher quality materials to improve its comfort and convenience.

With updated technologies, such as larger infotainment screens and advanced digital measuring clusters. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless can be standard with optional premium audio systems.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine

The Hyundai Santa Fe has a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 191 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine for 281 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque.

The Santa Fe Hybrid has a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, a 44.2 kW electric motor, and a 1.49 kW lithium-ion battery.

The system produces 226 hp. It gets an EPA estimate of 36 mpg in the city and up to 31 mpg on the highway.

With the Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid, you get a four-cylinder engine, a 66.9 kW electric motor, and a 13.8 lithium-ion battery. The system produces 261 hp, and the driver can travel 30 miles on a single charge.
