New 2021 Hyundai Kona i30 N Release Date

New 2021 Hyundai Kona i30 N Release Date – Hyundai introduced 2021 i30 N in Frankfurt last month, and the high-performance division led by Albert Biermann seemed to be busier than ever before. In addition to the mid-cycle refresh for i30 N, Kona N has appeared with the same styling influences on the hot hatchback.

Photographers have snapped the first image of a development prototype for the upcoming Hyundai Kona N on the Nurburgring circuit in Germany.

Here we can see the basic Kona body on top of what looks like some gear running mechanical i30 N hot hatch-that is the wheel, the brake and the discharge system piercing out of the crossover skin.

2021 Hyundai Kona i30 N Engine

Given some of the components along with Kona with the guys like Hyundai i30 and Veloster, it would appear that not much work has to do for the wedge i30 N and Veloster N High Output 202kW/353Nm 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engines into the bay engine, but the appearance of this prototype does not pose some questions.

The design of two-tone alloy wheels, paint red on the brake caliper, and grippy summer tires stand as proof, but the front and rear end of Kona N does not appear to be at the same level of sportiness. Even the exhaust system looks emergency, which means that development is far from above.

It’s hard to say from this image if the test mule is an all-wheel-drive, but even if Hyundai can’t make the case for the grip level, the rear suspension will level up from the torque beam for a multi-link design. The underlying Platform of Kona is quite similar to i30, and this synergy will help the development team take advantage of their experience with the i30 N.

Like the hot hatchback, the first-ever subcompact crossover with full-blown N treatment is expected to display the T-GDi engine with a 2.0-liter displacement. The four-cylinder power plant develops up to 275 PS with a performance package, a sufficient number of horses for this small vehicle.

2020 is also a year where dual-clutch transmissions will be introduced to i30 N and Veloster N, and obviously enough, Kona N will be available with this option as well. The i20 N and Tucson N are also in development, but the high-performance division has yet to make plans to go higher than the compact segment. So to speak, the Sonata and Santa Fe could lose.

In Europe and the United States, Kona N will be the most powerful crossover subcompact for models 2021 years unless competition has other ideas. The Puma ST of Ford was a place to behold, and Nissan did not say the word in regards to the return of Juke NISMO RS.

Being an SUV, you would think that the performance version of Kona will have all-wheel drive-although we have not seen a version of the Hyundai N longer drivetrain that sends power to all four wheels first.

Also, we can’t see Kona N is a lot of successful sales without automatic transmission options. In saying that, we know Hyundai is working on a new dual-clutch transmission for the performance model because it hit the market next year.

The rest of the package should Echo that of the i30 and Veloster N model. Expect the choice of an eye-catching exterior blue paint performance, a sports body Kit, a confined differential-slip front, an active disposal system, a bright red exterior, and an interior highlight, along with a leather whip and Alcantara in the cabin.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Kona N also received a slight dip in altitude up compared to a regular model, and got some unique design appointments inside and out to signify its potential performance.

It is no secret that Hyundai has been working on ‘ Kona N ‘, with the company’s performance boss, Albert Biermann, after being confirmed several times recently that his team has evolved in an N. Kona prototype, though spotting these vehicles suggests it might lead to production.
