The Hyundai Ioniq 7 is one of the three-row electric crossovers that use the Hyundai Seven concept as a preview for the upcoming electric SUV and is the highest model in the brand’s EV lineup.

The rendering, which uses seven concepts, is intended as a guideline for imagining the appearance of the next production version.

As the first three-row electric SUV from the Korean marque is expected to hit the market in 2024, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will provide a futuristic look, enhanced electrical expertise, and maximum performance.

At first glance, this model is about the same size as the three-row Hyundai Palisade. But in terms of exterior and interior, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will certainly get improvements to increase the performance and driving satisfaction of the drivers.

The interior of this SUV is very spacious, so you are in a lounge. In addition, there is also an OLED screen which can also be a panoramic roof.

In addition to the futuristic style, this model also targets mileage to exceed 300 miles with a relatively fast battery charging time, which only takes about 20 minutes for a 10 to 80 percent charge.

Furthermore, Hyundai’s head of the styling group, Simon Loasby, and his partner SangYup Lee as global design head, said that the seven Ioniq 7 concepts could be interpreted in almost the same meaning as the Hyundai 45 concept. The appearance of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will also be similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 model in 2022.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Exterior

Although it is almost the same as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 comes with more futuristic and modern design details.

This can be seen in its front fascia, which looks similar to the Van Hyundai Staria, and the windshield is sharp with an unhindered flat surface.

In addition, the lower installed seven concept light blades become high and low searchlights, while those placed higher become lights. When walking during the day, this is also the same as Staria.

On the rear side of the Hyundai Ioniq 7, you’ll likely find glass that fills more than half of the hatch space, and hatch handles and license plate holders occupy the rest.

The glass rear hatch of this model is also estimated to be almost the same as the Volvo C30. To facilitate the entry and exit of passengers, this car, colored green, installed a carriage door without pillars.

The wheelbase of this SUV looks longer (about 10 inches above the Palisade wheelbase) because the wheels are pushed outwards and have more free space inside.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Interior

The interior of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 is designed to be spacious and flexible with a comfortable layout and a highly expected “lounge” concept.

Thanks to the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be given a flat floor with a rear curved bench seat that is very comfortable even though the seat will not be able to move much.

The concept that this model uses even allows you to turn the car into a workspace equipped with ambient lighting of dazzling side doors.

In terms of material, this concept also uses wood and bamboo carpets, mineral plaster, copper, hygienically treated fabrics, interior paints, and bio-resins from renewable sources.

This model is equipped with an OLED screen in the interior with the dual function of a panoramic roof. In other words, it serves as a viewer of the desired content and can be a modifier of the interior appearance.

On the other hand, there are also oval-shaped cutouts on the door panels and joysticks in place of the steering wheel that comes from the driver’s seat armrest.

Features and Technologies

Uniquely, you don’t need to worry about the cleanliness of the interior space of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 because this model has a UVC sterilization system with a special sanitary UVC lamp that functions to sterilize the interior after passengers leave the vehicle.

Not only that, even when you are in the vehicle, there will be a system that controls the flow of air inhaled by passengers while removing used air with high efficiency.

The Hygiene Airflow System does this. Here also applied vertical and horizontal modes were used.

Vertical mode is an air taker through built-in air vents on the roof rails, and horizontal mode takes care of airflow from the dashboard to the rear vents.

This model also has a mobile console with a large 27-inch screen, although it eventually seems to be reduced by the 77-inch roof display.

In addition to including a built-in mini refrigerator, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 pampers its passengers with a shoe maintenance compartment that can refresh the footwear, so it doesn’t smell bad.

The Hyundai Ioniq 7 also has an excellent driving assistance system that can run autonomous steering up to level 3.

This technology means it can handle various road conditions, but you can’t lose focus either because you always have to be ready to take control.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Performance

This electric vehicle from Hyundai is expected to come with extraordinary off-road capabilities. This can be seen from the thick and sturdy fenders and the improved electrical expertise.

This vehicle weighing up to 5,500 lbs, is expected to be very fast and capable of going in less than 6 seconds at 0-60 mph.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Engine

Hyundai Ioniq 7 is an electric vehicle with an electric motor as the drive of each shaft. The model is expected to get a 100-kilowatt-hour battery with a range of up to 300 miles, aka 483 kilometers.

If we calculate the combined output, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will get a power of 308 horsepower, which is 230 kilowatts.

This model has an 800-volt architecture with a relatively fast charging time, which only takes about 20 minutes to charge 10 to 80 percent.

Competitors

The Kia EV9 looks set to be the toughest rival of the Hyundai Ioniq 7. In addition to being equally electrically powered with three-row seats, the Kia EV9 will also use the E-GMP platform and offer about 300 miles of the EPA’s estimated range with about five seconds to travel 60 miles per hour.

In addition to the Kia EV9, Mercedes-Benz EQB and Tesla Model X will also be present at the end of 2023 and are tough competitors to this model.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Price and Release Date

There has yet to be official information regarding the release date, but we are confident that the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be revealed in 2023 as a 2024 model year.

The price per unit is expected to range from around $50,000 to $60,000. The price for an SUV with a super comfort offer and this advanced technology is reasonable.
