2024 Hyundai Tucson

The latest Hyundai Tucson marketed in the United States will have a variant that is claimed to be more challenging than its standard variant.

The current-generation Tucson, which launched in May 2021 in Australia, has proven to be quite eye-catching, with waterfall front daytime running LED lights, outer panel folds on the doors, and a straightened rear helping it stand up against rivals such as the Toyota RAV4, Mitsubishi Outlander and even its cousin, the Kia Sportage.

What’s New for 2024?

Tucson has only a few changes for 2024. The Premium plan has been removed from the SEL model, and its contents have been distributed as a standard feature to other trim levels.

For example, panoramic sunroofs are now standard on the N-Line trim, and larger 10.3-inch infotainment screens can be found on all XRT trims and up.

Adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, and speed limit assistance features are now standard in all Tucson trims. Serenity White Pearl replaced Quartz White on Tucson’s exterior color palette.

2024 Hyundai Tucson Engine

The 2.5-liter 187-hp four-cylinder engine will come standard and is equipped with an eight-speed automatic and front or all-wheel drive.

A 1.6-liter turbocharged four will power the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, which is good for a combined 226 hp on the first model and 261 hp on the second model; All-wheel drive is standard with an electric powertrain, and both are equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The performance of the non-hybrid Tucson is quite adequate so that the proficient driver will crave more power.

2024 Hyundai Tucson Interior

Tucson features a simple yet modern dashboard design with a digital gauge display, push-button shifter, and touch-sensitive control panel for climate control and infotainment systems.

Hyundai’s flagship Palisade SUV and the recently redesigned Sonata and Elantra sedans have become watershed moments for the company’s interior design.

The brand-new Tucson carries on the tradition with a painstakingly designed interior packed with high-end materials and amenities.

The Tucson offers better passenger comfort and functionality than the previous model because of its larger cargo room and rear seat space.

We stowed nine carry-on baggage behind the back row of the hybrid, bringing the total number of bags we could fit inside to 22 when the seatbacks were folded down.
