New 2021 Hyundai Tucson Rendering Model – The front fascia remains pretty much the same, and you will observe the intricate patterns of the Grille similar to the Grandmaster concept, flanked by a pair of incredibly small LED lights and a second cluster of lamps positioned lower on the bumper.

It’s a polarizing look and while it certainly wouldn’t be for everyone to like, we have to give credit to Hyundai for having the courage to change the Tucson. Although South Korea’s crossover generation is only around four years old, its successor is expected to arrive at some point in 2021.

A few weeks ago we caught Hyundai delivering the Next-gen Tucson workout at the Nürburgring. The crossover will be a new animal from the ground up, and now we have a Spy video from the automotive Mike on YouTube showing how to get together on speed.

It was the same prototype of our previous apparition, wearing the same number plates and revealing Camo wrap. The clips open with what kind of flavor for the drivers of the prototype are disguised, as this person seems somewhat intending to be away from the video camera as soon as possible. This is not as if the prototype is not in full view around the Nordschleife, but perhaps a higher speed makes the driver feel better about the details of the design being obscured.

Being a spying video instead of just a photo, this clip allows us to sample the SUV’s performance envelope. It is not billed as a person of high-performance locomotion in any way, as evidenced by the speed at which the Porsche 911 followed it about 50 seconds to the clip. It’s also not being piloted to the edges of the control rags, though we hear tire scrub in more than a few corners.

Body roll looks relatively tame, although it looks close to revealing the cage roll and the absence of a rear seat in this test vehicle. That does not mean special performance variants will come; Instead, we thought this was just a Hyundai engineer checking the torsional rigidity of SUVs.

2021 Hyundai Tucson Engine

It’s hard to say what’s under the hood of this prototype. The next-gen Tucson is expected to obtain a new THETA3 engine displacing 2.5 liters for most markets, including the United States. A 1.6-liter Diesel should also be available in the European market, and hybrid powertrain could appear later in the Tucson age.

Speaking of that, Hyundai just gave Tucson a facelift currently barely a year ago. We have heard nothing in the rumor Mill about when this all-new model could officially break the Cover, but we still hope it’s at least one more year, if not more.
