It’s good news, the time is bad for fans of sporty cars with manual transmissions. We’ll start with the bad news: The Hyundai Veloster 2021 in High-feature Turbo Ultimate Trim is The loss of manual transmissions. That means the only way to get Veloster with a 1.6-liter Turbo engine and the manual is to get the basic R-Spec trim.

The good news is that R-Spec Trim has taken some safety features welcome. Now the standard is cross-cross detection, and better yet, blind-spot Monitoring. As we show you in the video review, Veloster has a pretty terrible rear-blind spot, so this is a nice addition. That being said, it’s still a little disappointing that there’s no more way to get the Veloster that comes with a polite manual like a sunroof, heated seats, leather, head-up look or a rain-sensing wiper.

Of course, the manual transmission is still the only way to get a Veloster N, so at least there it is. It has become more expensive, though, with prices rising from $27,820 to $28,320. The N Performance package that adds larger brakes, wheels, adjustable exhaust, 25 horsepower, and electronically controlled Limited-Slip differential is still the same as $2,100, though.

Other voters see a very small hike in the price if any at all. The natural base of disseminated 2.0 models climbed $100 to $19,520. 2.0 Premium rose only $50 to $23,720. The R-Spec Turbo is up to $250 for $24,070. The regular Turbo rises by $50 to $26,370 and takes wireless phone charging as a new standard feature.

Ultimate Turbo Price does not change on $29,070 when comparing the dual-clutch version automatically, but the pricier bit is fair of the discontinued manual version that starts at $27,570. Hyundai has not announced its availability, but since the price chart says it is effective on June 13, 2019, we hope the 2021 model may be on their way to the dealer if there is not already.
